An interview-style book. Learned about things i was not expecting to learn about like the value of theater in his life and the way he uses the theatre of the absurd as a metaphor for life is unique and beautiful. Dont agree with everything but hearing his life, it opens your mind to how the way people are raised impacts their convictions. What a great person to read about!

i wish i could give this a 6. speechless. this book will make you laugh, it will inspire you, it will leave you in suspense. Beautifully written. First book read by Chesterton and he is not just an author, he is an artist with his words. You will be able to imagine a world so clearly, and the story is deeply profound in faith and value.

So much free information on religious fasting but this book is worth the purchase. Piper does an incredible job at answering all possible questions and concerns on fasting as a Christian. Its very biblically sound and is constantly wrapped in scripture. I read this during lent and it made me realize so much more on fasting than i ever did before.
