Amazing even with my third time reading through. A pillar for the dystopian genre, the Hunger Games is truly a book that will be talked about for generations to come.

A fun summer read that got me out of my reading slump. Romance cute but a little fast.

In all honesty, I really wanted to like this book. I think what the biggest let down was the comparisons placed between this book and the movie, “Knvies Out”.
As a result, I felt that everything and also nothing happened in the book as a whole. The puzzles weren’t too astonishingly complex and I found myself not invested in the plot as a whole. As for characters, yes Xander is the superior brother, and i’ll probably read the sequel for him.

I really liked how reflective the book was but the ending was off putting.

If i had to describe this book in words i’d call it, “A walking psa for domestic abuse written on plain white bread”.
Reading the authors note, i understand the premise behind this book came from a very personal story, and i admire the courage it took to take that expierience and turn it into a novel.
My main issue, is the delivery and execution in this book is so mind numbingly simple and every idea being explained EXACTLY to the reader that it makes the second half of the book drag to no end. Definitely not for everyone, but can see why others might find it appealing.
