Second read through and still just as enthralling. Really wish I could read this for the first time again but this second time round was enjoyable for spotting little references that now make more sense having read the entire series previously.

I've been looking for a decent fantasy series to pick up for some time now. Nothing has quite scratched the itch since I finished the Realm of the Elderlings. But I think I might have just found it 👌

My only issue being that I finally started to remember who half the characters were towards the end of the book, and then a whole host of them got killed off 😂

I need the second book, asap!

Having yet to find myself disappointed by an Agatha Christie novel, and so far having read only Hercule Poirot stories.. I decided to try one of her most well known Poirot-less efforts. This was a thorough 4-star affair all of the way through, with the epilogue raising it to a 5-star finish. Bravo 👏
