This was even better than the first book! I loved getting to know Sam and Charlie more and learning all about the magic and the mysterious Hand. It was an adventurous rollercoaster with many emotional moments. The mystery had me hooked and and I loved how it all fit together by the end. That ending was so beautiful and it did make me cry! I hope there are more adventures involving all these characters.

I really enjoyed this book, the journey and interactions Sera had with everyone. So much new information and answers to questions I had in previous books. I loved the relationship between Sera and Nyktos and the lengths they go for eachother. There were points where I though the pacing a little slow but this is probably because I really wanted to find out what was going to happen. The links between this and the From blood and ash series were so intriguing and I can't wait to find out more!

This book had me hooked from the start! I loved learning about this new world and the different creatures within it. The mystery throughout was intriguing and I enjoyed trying to discover who Lis could trust and more about herself. The relationship was just perfect, the amount of tension, banter and romance I loved. This is perhaps a perfect example of what a good romantasy is, both aspects were expertly woven together and complemented each other. I cannot wait for the next installment of this book!

This was a great ending to the series! It was full of pirates, adventure, romance and tension! I loved the relationship and character development of Vice and Knigh and that the side characters were so well fleshed out. They were witty and wise. I cried, I laughed and I gasped! There were also some suprise character developments for me which I really enjoyed! I read Kiss of iron before this and it was so interesting to see how it fits in with this story. Very excited to continue with this world!
