The first half of the book is incredible. It was well-paced, set up well, and made me connect with the characters. The issue comes in as soon as they get to Ecuador the book instantly speeds up. And not in a good way. The last half of the book is rushed and goes too quickly in comparison to the beginning we were given. It was a bit of a letdown as I wish we could have gotten more from that portion.
