absolutely loved this book
it was so sweet, funny and the dynamic/relationship between aiden and summer is to die for, was literally giggling so much.. yeah it’s a very well written book imo and i can’t wait for more

This book was terrible. really bad at acknowledging mental health struggles and naming abuse, abuse. just like a really poor way to incorporate and write about emotional abuse and eating disorders (and SO MANY PEOPLE STRUGGLE WITH that, many. especially dancers.) for what felt like, and truly was, for shock value. there was no other point to write about that, like yeah dancers struggle with body imagine and ED’s, but not all. and if you’re not gonna actually “explore” the topic and just say “oh don’t worry i’ll throw it up later BUT NO I DONT HAVE AN ED” and that’s it, then why even mention it in the first place??? that’s just triggering because truly carolina only mentions her (what i would call) ED briefly and nothing ever happens with that! like one day she’s just fine again with food in the second part of the book and like cool i guess???? (kinda triggering but good for you bestie 🤠) but besides that this book will make you feel like life is.. empty because.. this book is just like that??? nothing happens??? the second part??? was awful. especially as someone who loves ballet like there wasn’t enough of it in it and SHE JUST QUITS IT AND IS TOTALLY CHILL WITH IT after having zero real like convos/processing it???? like HUH??? that just is not realistic as someone who has friends and sister who do ballet/did it for over 10 years..yeah anyways it’s bad, the smut is meh, the story just meh.. i don’t recommend it.

basically it’s a book about mad men but like legit lol so yeah very gory, read trigger warnings !!
but it’s actually really good like if you over look all the death and um blood parts… the story is good! the writing is good ,it was interesting and a good story, also there were only minor misogynistic comments which wohooo that’s a win for me thank you very much and yeah
