Lucid: First Edition by Ron Bass, Adrienne Stoltz, Adrienne Stoltz

THIS BOOK WAS SO AMAZING!!!
Absolutely loved the plot; I have never read anything like this before. This book channeled the movie "Inception" because at times the plot isn't exactly clear and you have to figure it out on your own, which I loved. The first half was really good but oh my the second half got so crazy, the suspense was killing me. This book is such a mind fuck like woah. It definitely leaves you thinking, "what the hell just happened!?!"
THE ENDING.
OH MY GOD?!? I have never read an ending with such a twist. When I first started reading this, I would have never thought it would end up where it did. I seriously think I forgot to breathe for the last two chapters. I gasped at the last sentence. Serious kudos to the writers (Adrienne Stoltz & Ron Bass) who managed to take such a chaotic, crazy story and tie it all together in that one last sentence. I'm just so upset that this is a standalone. I need more!!!

Never Never: Part Two by Tarryn Fisher, Colleen Hoover

I'm not going to lie, I was slightly disappointed with this. After waiting months for part two following one of the craziest cliffhangers I've ever read, I'm not as satisfied as I thought I was going to be. Part one was full of suspense and unanswered questions, and I thought this book would answer those questions. Some were resolved, but in the process it only seemed to raise more questions. Overall though, I still really enjoyed this book! The plot in this was just as captivating as it was in part one. I hope that part three will clarify all of the confusion and mystery.

You've done it once again Sarah J. Maas! This series is hands down one of my all-time favorite series ever (and it's not even over yet!). There are not enough words to describe my love for these books. Always so captivating and shocking; I barely seem to calm my rapid breathing until yet another shocking twist happens!
My ONLY problem with this book is the fact that I have to wait till September to get my hands on the next one ahhh!! How will I survive months without these characters in my life?!?

Well I definitely didn't think I was going to read this in one sitting till nearly one in the morning... Even though I knew I needed sleep, I couldn't peel myself away from this book! The plot in this just pulled me in and I was so intrigued in seeing what would happen next. The second half totally caught me by surprise; I never thought it would end the way it did. This book ended on such a good note and I can't wait to continue on with the series and see where it goes!

I loved this one just as much as the first book! I was afraid the sequel was going to be a little anticlimactic, but it was just the opposite! I loved the characters in the first book, and my love for them has continued to grow. Just the idea of this series in general intrigues me so much. This book ended on a pretty calm note... I'm unsure of what is to come, but I'm excited to see what happens and how this series will end!

I think I'd have to say this was my least favorite of the series. This book focused more on Janie's internal struggles, which was a nice departure from the non-stop action in the previous books. But at the same time, it lacked any action almost completely. Also, I'm really unsure about the ending... I wasn't exactly disappointed, but I wasn't content with the outcome either; I think I was just hoping there would be something more... Despite the ending being a little slower than I would have hoped, as a series overall I really did enjoy it!
