Happy-Go-Lucky, by David Sedaris

A mix of enjoyable and cringeworthy- perhaps our senses of humor are not as compatible as Sedaris ages. Some real boomer energy in here as he expands to more social commentary than in previous books.

Not sure I would have loved this book as much if I read the print version- I think Meryl Streep made the narrator a lot more endearing to hear her humor out loud. Thoughtful, funny, great food writing. Less great at non-white characters, those parts seem very dated.
