“What I mean is… it’s a beautiful weakness. That’s what we’re protecting, always, each in our own way. It’s what we fight for.”

oh shit here come the waterworks. beautiful novel, wonderfully wonderful and heartbreaking. a book about bullying yes, but a book about breathing and taking all the awful and beautiful things in too. won’t ever forget you heaven. never ever. but you really hurt like hell.

poorly written. some of the “poems” aren’t even poems they’re sentences that people say on a daily basis.

there was one poem that i liked in the entire book, the one about wishing upon the glow-in-the-dark stars on the ceiling but other than that it was a waste of time and energy. big ups to the chick for writing a poetry book at 19 though, no matter how boring it was.
