If I could give it more stars I would!!!
This fucking book!!! I mean it’s Ali so I knew I would love it but I didn’t know how much!!! A new favorite for sure! Honestly, I’m ready for a reread!

The characters, the dynamics, the story, the cameos, it was all just si perfect, but the smut!? EXCUSE ME MS HAZELWOOD WHERE WERE YOU HIDING ALL THAT!? This book is HOT and I ate it all up. Truly obsessed.

I loved the political and social commentary of this book, but sadly I didn’t care enough about any character to feel there was high stakes. The magic system was also really cool but it didn’t help with the lack of high stakes. I wasn’t necessarily bored while reading but I was also not excited to continue. I’m glad I finished but I had higher hopes for it.
