Such a cute and cozy fantasy. I also love that the protagonist is in her 30s. Volume 1 is a little exposition heavy, but I’m excited to see where this goes.

I love that an entire collection of short stories by Black Horror authors exists. It gives me some new authors to explore and more works from authors I’m familiar with. The only reason this doesn’t get 5 stars is because I would have to love every story. Some deeply resonated, some I liked, and some weren't really for me. Although, I do feel like every story is worth the read.
