This book is a good ride. I’ve been wanting to read a book by Lisa Gardner and this book didn’t disappoint. I thought I’ll find it boring, because the first few pages are, but the excitement all started when Rainie was faced to face with the mass murderer at school. It also interest me to the field of psychology on the criminal field. And the importance of child psychology. It is a good ride reading this. I can’t wait to read more of her books.

“Do what you’re afraid to do.”

This is like a vacation read where I get to have a vacation in Beechwood. I also never thought American people fought over land and properties. I’m used to seeing them in asian families and telenovelas. Well anyway, the twist was unexpected for me. And I really feel sorry for them. Esp the dogs. I don’t know who to blame, but one thing is for sure, children were affected because of the adults’ acts. Overall, it’s a good read for me.

I can say it’s really a disturbing book. So many WTf moments. And the twist is also a wtf moment. I can’t believe I finished it.

Out of all the series, this is the book I loved the most. I know that I’ve been bitter on the first book, but hell yeah, this third book is amazing. I never thought I could read something like this.  2 boyfriends that are boyfriends, YES!!! The relationship of the three is outstanding. It might be friendship, love, lust, I don’t know but it is beautiful. Helen is stronger than what they think of her. She needs no saving. The trials are so well described, I can really imagine myself watching the arena, so intense I can’t stop reading. The spiciness of this book. I just can’t. Also, being taken care of 2 gorgeous men, Helen is living the dream. I just love the three of them. They all deserved the happiness.

It’s a good read. Kinda slow, but I enjoy reading it.  I don’t know much about Marie Antoinette, but this novel made me curious of her. I feel bad for her because of the view of the people of her. Giselle is a good instrument to know about the queen. Though this is a work of fiction, I believe it mirrors somehow truth on the queen’s life. Also, the love story of Leon and Giselle. I almost had a heart attack when
they broke up after sex. OMG. What a time to spill the truth Giselle. I’m just glad they still end up together.
