While a lot of it is a bit out there, this is diction and so a slightly out there plot is really grounds to fault something on. I found this read to be a fun one, but it just wasn't the most incredible thing I've ever read. It was entertaining and the plot twist was pretty good, some of things could've been set up a little bit better but overall I had fun.

2.75, not bad, was fun but it wasn't my cup of tea I thought ut woukd be more magical realism and while it did have a little of that vibe at some point it fekt a little pointless, but it wasn't bad.

Intriguing, the concept is interesting, the art style is great. I think it would have benefitted from being a bit longer to help establish a bit more of a connection between the reader and the characters but overall I liked it.

Oh my god, that was insanely good! I really loved this read I mean the concept itself is amazing. The execution however is where the true masterpiece lies this was just amazing. Adrienne Young has a way with words, she kept me guessing and interested from start to end and the way the mystery to it was revealed piece by piece helped keep it genuinely "mysterious". I usually guess the plot as I read it and tend to get pretty close sometimes even spot on but this one took up until probably the last chapter or 2 before I managed to decipher anything.

The actual step by step drawing tutorials are easy to follow and the parts that tell you a bit about Yokai are interesting. If you like to draw this is a fun one to work on less conventional designs, and an added bonus if you like to draw and are a fan of wither anime, Japanese culture, mythology, paranormal or all of the above.

This book was fast-paced and extremely entertaining. The mystery was well-done, the lead-up to the reveal was done perfectly, questions were asked, some answered and enough left unanswered to warrant the next book. Get's a 3.5 because a 4 would be too much but 3 isn't quite good enough. I'd recommend this if you like true-crime or shows that  follow police/detectives.

Super fun read, I liked the characters they were well layered and the plot itself had me wondering what exactly was going on. The entire concept was really interesting to learn a little more about as the plot progressed. I have high hopes for the 2nd book.

Heads up this is a short story collection (which initially I didn't realise), I picked this up because the cover and title sounded cute I saw the words "slice of life" and "manga" and thought sure I rarely read slice of life manga. The 3 stories individually were super cute but I would've preferred that all 2 be separate longer mangas so that definitely affects my rating but it still gets a 4 which isn't bad at all. So needless to say I'd recommend it it was super cute!

Very interesting read, it's short and sweet. Looks at the idea of robots in a very sweet way, which is extremely uplifting with all the bad things people think and feel surrounding the future of things like AI/robots.
