Oranges Are Not the Only Fruit by Jeanette Winterson

A solid 4 stars.

Being someone who has their childhood ruined by parental expectations, while being attracted to the same sex, I can say that this was something I approve of wholeheartedly. [a: Jeanette Winterson|9399|Jeanette Winterson|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1561070665p2/9399.jpg] did a fantastic job portraying the troubles faced by the minorities, and how parents tend to think that their kids owe them something. I cherished it dearly, might re-read it someday.
