This is such a beautiful story! Having been burned before, I was scared this was not going to have a satisfying ending and I'm so glad it was not the case. Found this through a recommendations thread and it was a blessing.
What a lovely romance. It is so hard to find romances that touch me so deeply and this one, even though very short, still hit all the right spots. I'm a sucker for second chances, for working on your issues, for becoming a better version of yourself because you don't want to lose the person you've chosen to share your life with, for relationships that need work but have so much love. I love relationships that you have to fight for, it feels so real because relationship do take work so whenever it's too easy it doesn't feel right to me. And this one is wonderfully flawed, and I love it.

I thoroughly enjoy Chakraborty's fantasy world, I think it's so rich and colorful that it makes the story more vivid and awe-inspiring. Her protagonist has a great voice and being told Amina's adventurous tale in such an open and casual way was entertaining.
