This book is of the modern popular genre. It’s a bit trashy, not too complex and has a slightly predictable love story (in the beginning drowning him less so ) but it’s certainly on the higher end of quality when it comes to this sort of writing. The ideals given in this book are genuinely interesting, and the plot twist isn’t all that expected, and I couldn’t really put it down. It’s perfect for if you are in a reading slump, has enough shock factor to keep you invested and an ending that leaves you wondering about the past.
