A great read. Rice describes the landscapes beautifully, and just as beautifully describes the traditional ceremonies and practices of Indigenous people. As far as story goes, he does a great job of creating a tense atmosphere, with the feeling that danger lurks around every tree or rock. Great descriptions of bleak post-apocolyptic society and s very accurate depiction of what most humans would do in such a situation.

There's enough mystery in the novel leaving you wanting for another sequel.

I think Stewart highlighted the important parts of his life. Those of a certain age already know all about Star Trek and X-Men; those chapters fly by very quickly. The most insight into the man is of his life before Star Trek.

Wonderfully written and very witty. Inspiring man.

I enjoyed this book, but it wasn't at the same level as Red Team Blues. The story felt broken up (even though it did all tie together at the end) and found that a tad distracting.

A fascinating read and insight into a man who chose to live outside of society. Highly recommended.
