This is probably the best book of the series honestly. There’s so much heart to this book. It’s oddly raw for a fantasy book and very emotional. I loved it though and am sad to say goodbye to the characters

I stayed up late to finish it just because I needed to know what happened. Stunning book honestly

This is a 4.5! I read it in one sitting I was entranced. Every time I thought I had the story figured out, I was shocked and surprised at the outcomes. Truly this book did not fall to the second book syndrome

This book surprised me and honestly immediately drew me in. I found the characters fascinating, the plot full of lots of twists and turns and the magical aspects of it fascinating.

The characters felt so real and relatable and the journey they went through also felt so tangible

This book was interesting - the plot as always with any of her books was full of twists and turns and kept me on my toes.

Was a little confused on how Carden and Jude were portrayed but came to understand that was based solely on Oaks own thoughts and experiences with them.

Honestly I are this book up. Was so glad to see Carson’s and Jude again - missed this chaotic duo. Also found Oak to be a lot more manageable and likeable

Really loved this one better than the first book in the duo

This book started off slow but then it got super intense fast. I would not wish to live in this reading universe especially because of the dolls. Nah man, count me out. I was so terrified reading it because of that. But I did like the analysis of grief, family dynamics and the flawed characters

This book was a bit hard to follow at time and intentions were unclear but overall it was a decent read

I think this book is a little hard to get into because it’s not very plot driven. It was a bit of a tough read, kind of tolling and made you second guess everything you were reading. Definitely an unreliable narrator
