Craved By You by J. Kenner, J. Kenner

What a great novella!  This one brings us the story of Cami who we met in Entwined with You when we met Braxton but Craved By You can be read on it's own.  The whole Stark Security/Nikki & Damien is worth the read and time to dive into because this whole interconnected series and by series I mean multiple because J Kenner does such a great job at connecting Nikki & Damien and her other characters throughout her series.  The characters may just pop in and say "hello" and you don't need to know them, but you kinda want to!!  Trust me really do!

In Craved By You, we get to go back into Cami's past and hear her story of her and Maxim as kids and how they met and how they loved and their tragic parting.  Maxim is working with some really bad people.  She knows she needs to take him down along with Group Ultra but what will it cost her to do so when she knows she'll have to confront her past and the boy who is now a man and who broke her heart?

This was so good!  You can read as a standalone without reading the rest, but trust me, you'll want to read the rest!!

The twists and turns in the second book are more shocking then book one in The Sinners Duet, that's what makes The Society books so amazing, the reader never knows what to expect.  IVI has their own set of rules outside of normal society and Blue is shocked when she comes face to face with of those rules and traditions since she wasn't born into The Society.

Seeing Blue and Zeke grow throughout this duet is great to see and especially in book two.  The conclusion was awesome and the ending was even better!!

Can't wait for more IVI books!!

Loved the premise of this book.  The chemistry between Dylan and Raven was great and the spice level was hot!!

Raven's boyfriend breaks up with her and humiliates her, so she decides to get a little payback and a little something for herself as well.  The problem is it backfires so spectacularly and the one to be hurt is Raven herself.

One man comes to her rescue, Dylan, who also wants a little payback at Raven's ex-boyfriend.  Dylan and Raven team up to get revenge.

I really would have given this a higher rating because the interplay between Dylan and Raven and Raven and her friends was great, but I felt I needed a business degree or an economics degree or something to get through all the Wall Street chat.  I zone out and usually the leave the room when hubby and our youngest son start talking stocks.  I don't read a book that I need a college education to understand what's being talked about, I want to read it to enjoy and escape.  Most of it could have been glossed over and yes, I know some of it would have to be talked about and that's ok, but most could have been omitted.

Seeing the two main characters grow and work through their trauma was great to see at the end.

Sweet Little Spies by Lexi Blake

Lexi Blake knows how to make us laugh even when we are crying our eyes out.  Her books are always funny even when they are emotional and this one was no exception.

Tristan joined the military after college while Carys and Aidan went onto med school and then residency.  Tristan has asked the two people he has loved his entire life to wait for him for years now, but how long can they go on waiting?  Carys and Aidan decide to wed without Tristan since they have postponed their wedding twice now and they gave him 2 1/2 years to come back to them.

Tristan is trying to keep them safe, so when he fails to do so, he has to find his way back to them.  Tristan is the Dom in their throuple and Carys and Aidan had fallen into a vanilla relationship without Tristan involvement for the past few years, but will Carys forgive him for his lies and betrayal?  Can Tristan give up his up profile life to be with the two most important people in his life?

This book was so emotional and the bathroom scene in the hotel will break your heart!!  So many more questions to be answered in the books to come in true Lexi Blake fashion!

Going back to The Society/IVI world was so very good!!

Ezekiel St. James is trying to find out who is blackmailing him, but who is foolish to do that?  He left NOLA years ago and hasn't been back.  And who would've known what he did all those years ago?

Blue is trying to keep herself and her sister safe but she doesn't trust anyone.  She is on the run and working at The Cat House.  When she runs into the St. James men, she knows she's screwed.  Ezekiel is supposed be out of the country, but now he's back and she knows she's blackmailing the wrong man.

Ezekiel has Blue kidnapped to figure out how much she knows and where she got her information and from whom.  All Blue wants to do is to get her sister and leave town and Ezekiel will never see her again, but he doesn't trust her.  Once he discovers more information about her, he realizes how much trouble Blue and her sister are truly in, but can he save them in time?

Such a great story and this one ends on a doozy of a cliffhanger!!  Can't wait for book two!

Wicked Heat by J. Kenner

Wicked Heat can be read as a standalone novel, but all the Stark novels are interconnected and once you dive in, the characters are so great and pop in even to just say "hello" in other novels and you'll wanted to get to know them!  That's what makes the Stark Universe so awesome!!

Wicked Heat finally gives us Bree's story which we've waited a while for now.  It's been years since her kidnapping, but we've never heard her side of it and she thought it was all over since everyone involved was dead.

Now she's being blackmailed by someone from the kidnapping that has tapes from those moments while she was held, moments she thought were just nightmares.

Ashton Stone, Damien Stark's son, who he didn't know existed until a few years ago, has always felt something more for Bree, but every advanced he's made, she either runs or dismisses.  Now he is or only hope to catch this blackmailer.

While they are working together, sparks fly!!

Such a great book!  And wow, Bree's story is so emotional!! Loved it!!  Go Read!
