Did not finish book. Stopped at 20%.
I love Georgette Heyer but this is the very last of her books I would ever recommend to anyone! Worth is insufferable and irredeemable, to the point where when I saw in the other reviews that he is supposedly the hero and love interest I honestly couldn't keep going. The guy forces a kiss on her in like the second chapter! Wtf?! (Edit: okay I looked it up and this is like her first book, so I get it now. Still, start somewhere else with reading Heyer!)

A really great, underrated memoir. The author has such a unique voice and there's a really tangible sense of sincerity about the whole thing. Definitely worth reading!
