This is maybe the best tentacle related book I've read but it still lacked a certain amount of polish and pizzazz. I was skimming through the sex scenes a lot.

<strong>A Guilty Pleasure</strong>
I have a lot of issues with this book but it doesn't stop me from re-reading it and thinking about it. I can't bring myself to stoop to Colleen Hoover's level, but I will absolutely read all of Penelope Douglas' trash eventually.

<strong>Loved it</strong>
Whilst I would have loved more time with these four, I also don't think I could have handled watching them all go through more strife. They were all so sweet and fragile and in need of love and i was glad of the way they all got to know each other and learn to trust one another. I'll be reading the whole series again fairly soon, I imagine.

<strong>Another cool concept from Mayne </strong>
Lily Mayne is an auto-read author for me, but I haven't read anything from Nikole Knight, and I'll have to remedy that. This was such a cool concept, with some quite-edgy story beats, but also with a lot of comfort and love and sexiness. There's a cool little mystery running throughout and I can't wait to see that play out as the series progresses.
