A different kind of story than I normally read. I really enjoyed the diverse perspective it offered  and the dystopian land it created. Really pops off towards the second half.

The zodiac academy universe is just amazing! I feel like I devour every book written by the twisted sisters. This book did just drop you right in, which was challenging if it's been awhile since you read the last one. The character sins story really takes off in this book, which I really enjoyed because I think he's amazing.

I probably should have paid better attention over the series because as the series was getting wrapped up I felt like I was still missing pieces. But that likely was my own fault. I love so much about the series I had to give it a high rating of course! Things ended on a much more positive note than I expected.

Full five+ stars. Incredibly raw and vulnerable. I recommend listening to it as it is narrated by the author and she has a lovely Scottish accent and humour that is best translated by listening. Her story was so relatable to me, and I'm sure it would be to many others. She spoke on the neurodivergent experience with so much authentic, personal realness. I don't normally read biographies but this blew me away

Surprisingly I liked this one more than I liked others in this series. Which was surprising because I think chaol is a bit of a little bitch. So pleasantly surprised

So sad for the series to end but also glad. This is my favorite series but it started to drag on after book 7... This book only has a couple spicy scenes and primarily was all war/battle and tying up loose ends. However I don't feel the story/plot is the twisted sisters strongest skill, their characters and relationship building is amazing. This series has a special place in my heart, overall the series is a 4.5/5 for me, only taking away half a point due to the story dragging and sometimes being a little monotonous/unclear with the plot. This book was my least favorite just because it was so much war stuff. But again overall this is my favorite series and I love the characters so much. I've read all the other twisted sisters books because I love how good they are at adding humour and relatability to their characters. I'll miss you ZA 😭 I would recommend reading the prequel of the dark fae series before reading ZA series, or at least before you get too far in the series

Read it after heir of fire.
I came back and edited my review because I think about this book nearly everyday still.
