Sometimes you get the pleasure of reading a book you were meant to read. This was one of those cases. Taking place at the end of the 20th century in Harvard Square, it depicts life, pain, and art in a quick 324 pages. It captured me quickly and every sentence slid down more easily than sweet banana bread pudding after dinner.
