i love this series so much, and the character development is really fun to read.

Wow! what can i say about this? truly insightful, so many twists and turns. i’m a big fan of fantasy books, and this was my first historical fiction and this one is pretty good. my favourite part was when jesus got betrayed! it was truly gripping and really characterises how you should never trust a man of any kind. although it was a bit of a crazy turn when he wasn’t found in his tomb and he can back alive! i really wasn’t expecting it, although there is so much lore to catch up on and often times it is confusing. some extracts have such good life lessons like “don’t trust men” and “be gay do whatever you want” to name a couple. can’t wait for part 2

read this book so quickly, i love love love fantasy books and this was perfect!! the writing, the story, the plot, everything was amazing. the slow-burn (ish) romance was well paced, and beautifully portrayed. the characters were engaging, and the world building was magical. i can’t put into words how much i love love love this book. really really enjoyable to read, i wish i could read it again for the first time. and the cover is so beautiful!! definitely one of my favourite books ever <3

got bored halfway through and haven’t been able to bring myself to finish it, hopefully i will eventually but from what i read the concept is great, the writing is great and the characters are well written and three dimensional :)

i love this book series so far, definitely one of my favourites!! the characters are enjoyable to read about, and their chemistry’s together are unmatched!! the cliffhanger was crazy, i can’t wait to read the third book and see where this series goes :)
