Oh goodness my heart loves this series so much and I’m not even sure why. Hands down my favorite character is Christian. Probably because he’s the guy that should be hated but he doesn’t let that seem to bother him. But importantly if you don’t want to cry then avoid this book!

So this is technically my first “dark” mafia story and I didn’t ready any reviews or watch any “booktok” on this book. I did see “Tessa” mention it on her page and was like what the heck I’ll try it.
Now for all the hype dark mafia stories get I will say this seemed pretty pg-13 like I wouldn’t be ashamed if someone saw me reading this. But with that said I do think this was a good introductory smut book. I do wish the characters were built out more and the main character actually picked a side. And the story line just seemed very rushed like sometimes days passed and it wasn’t really mentioned you had to piece it together yourself.
