I really wanted to love this book but unfortunately there was too much death and I couldn’t bring myself to root for an MC who shot a child?!

The most heartwarming, sweet, deeply romantic and joyous queer romcom.

Wrapped up in a big ‘fuck you rainbow capitalism’ bow!! 🎀

Oh my stars, I absolutely adored this book!!

I picked it up impulsively at Waterstones and had finished it within 24 hours.

I’m an absolute sucker for rivals to lovers and this did not disappoint. The tension between Kian and Harper was delicious!!

Both men were incredibly complex characters and those complexities made for a really delightful and satisfying read.

Also, a little niche but this book gave me similar vibes to the season one dynamic between Jamie Tartt and Roy Kent in Ted Lasso. It gave me everything that their relationship didn’t, a real treat!!
