Genuinely bad. Hats on hats, no reason for the main character to be a werewolf, tropes, an awkward rushed ending. Two incredibly lovable characters and everyone else sucks. Mixed messaging where there is messaging at all. A bunch of half thoughts half explored. Confused metaphors.

Don’t read it, its a bad book.

Overwhelmingly depressing if you’re already the kind of person who fears global warming, ai, social media but it ends with hope

The underlying adventure of this book is great but the book itself has no heart, the writing is terrible, everything feels so half-assed.

I know it’s for younger audiences but I read a lot of books for that age range and this is bad.

Watch the show instead 🤷

I love these books. I will miss these characters so much when they’re done.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 17%.
Too much fat shaming for me.

This chapter might as well say the shamefully fat fat man fatted fattily across the room, his disgraceful fat disgustingly fatting around his fatness.

A bummer because I am enjoying and intrigued by the narrative structure but Christ I don’t have to put up with this.

First time. Even having figured out what was going to happen it still fully broke me.

This book isn’t good in a lot of technical senses but I loved it very very much and I promise you I’ll read it again and dream of a love that’s dirt and rain and leaves 😭😭😭😭

The back quarter brought it to a 4- and may just have pulled me in enough to read a squeakuel
