First third of the book is kind of slow to really set everything up, but this is a gothic horror of sorts. But, once things really get interesting, it's hard to put it down and you feel mostly happy by the end

This pulled at my heart strings, multiple times tearing up or straight up crying. The story is interesting, the character dynamic is wonderful, it was a great read I couldn't put down. I'm sad I have to wait a whole year for the sequel though, UGH

Very informative but it's dense, dense in a slow and sometimes boring way. Rather unfortunate as the topic is dear to my heart, had to push myself to finish this

This book has you diving head first into Legends of Old but with a new spin, your heart aches for characters and longs for relationships built between them. I now impatiently have to wait for the second book

Did not finish book. Stopped at 11%.
Awful translation/writing, bad editing which made it less than interesting. I love volcanoes & disaster fiction but I just can't get through this
