OH GOSH OH BOY. Rebecca Kinkade has become on of my favourite authors just from this series alone. There is so much heart, humour, steam, and chaotic goodness. I am absolutely in love with this book and author!
Cora. Oh my word. I love how strong she is, how unapologetic, how unpredictable. She will not take your shit. She knows her worth. She is also a monster lover and loves to be chased and praised (me fr fr). I have never seen such things in human romances done well, anD OH MY GOSH IS IT DONE WELL!! Nom nom nom.
Cora and Everett's first time stepping over friendship boundaries was quintessentially Cora and Everett, so spicy and sweet. I love how the both challenge and support each other throughout the book, in spicy and sweet ways. I WAS GIGGLING AND KICKING MY FEET BY PAGE 25. Rebecca!!! You have outdone yourself.
Everett!!! Get you a man like Everett. He is willing to risk it all for his woman. There are so many moments where he says "fuck it", and I love him for it. ALSO HE READ ALL THE BOOKS SHE LOVES, AND HE LOVES WATCHING HER CAM. It is also so hot how proud of Cora Everett is. I love how he acknowledges what she does better than him. He is very touch her and die but recognizes Cora can do that herself and probably better.
ALSO HARDWARE KISSES ??? EVERETT PLEASE !! I COULDN'T LOVE YOU MORE. THEN HE SAID "I'M HER GOOD BOY NOW." TO HIS DAD AT THE END. I SCREAMED OUT LOUD!!!
Just like the first book, I love the friendships. I need book 3 ASAP!!
I love the information we got in the epilogue about how they all moved next to each other, I cried. They all loVE EACH OTHER SO MUCH 😭

I am at a loss for words. This book swept me off my feet (I feel like I say that a lot, but damn I love books and love love 😭).
This book is queer, it is sexy, it features an amazing queer friendship group alongside the romance with queer characters. 😭 Feeling happy and proud to be queer in this moment.
ALSO!!!! LITTLE ONE!!! IDK HOW THESE MONTROUS MEN KEEP MAKING ME SWOON OVER THE TINIEST DETAIL!!! BUT HE CALLS HER LITTLE ONE!!!! EEEEEE
THERE IS EVEN A CUTE COMPANION!!! I LOVE SLUG(GER). I grew up as one of those kids that caught snails, slugs, and potato bugs to be my friends, so I fell in love SO QUICKLY.
I AM SO EXCITED FOR MORE FROM THIS WORLD!! CIRRO'S STORY IS UP NEXT AND I CANNOT WAIT!!!
