If you're ever looking at my Storygraph, and you choose to read one book, please please please make it this one. I do not have the words to describe how much I adore this book. It scratched an internal psychoemotional itch I did not even know I had. It's quicker, cheaper, and more immediately rewarding than therapy. I read it in about four days, returned it to the library, and checked it out again about a week later so I could reread it. There is not a single part of this book that I disliked. I would invest in a nice hardcover edition of this book just so I could annotate it. Please read Contact by Carl Sagan. You will not regret it.
