What a pleasure it was to read the words of this legend! I absolutely love it when it feels as if the author is sitting in your living room talking to you. It was so enjoyable to hear about his childhood, his music and experiences throughout the years, his dedication to his family, his overall gratitude for everything, and finally being able to receive the recognition and accolades he deserves. The detail regarding his experiences in the music industry and great reference to other iconic blues artists made me appreciate it even more. I smiled so many times while reading this. This was such a great read!

This book was recommended to me, and I'm so glad I listened. What a ride! The story is captivating, and the performances were outstanding! It played out just as a movie would, and the sound effects were phenomenal! I've already suggested it to several other readers. Great read!
Where You Are Is Not Who You Are: A Memoir by Ursula Burns

AMAZING! As the first Black woman to become the CEO of a Fortune 500 company, you can imagine that Ursula Burns has a lot to tell. Her book does NOT disappoint. I was intrigued from the beginning of the book and remained engaged throughout. Her discussions regarding home life, upbringing, challenges, training and overall business perspectives were so compelling. Every woman, especially Black women, can find at least some part of her story to be relatable. Her natural inclination of being direct served a major purpose here and makes the book extremely appealing, as does her down-to-earth persona. This is a must read!

This was such an amazing story and so well written! It elicited so many emotions, with heavy topics and all, but in a way that makes you truly enjoy the book! The story dealt with behaviors that are unfortunately extremely common and wove together all of the details in such a powerful manner. It pulled me in from the beginning and never let me go.
