Easily 5⭐️ for me! Ali Hazelwood thank you so much for making this beautiful book and I would love to see the world you have built continue into another novel! Misery and Lowe are #couplegoals They are so good together. Misery is unabashedly proud of being a Vampyre and I am here for it. It was such a lighthearted and enjoyable read that I had to place it in my top favorite books to reread when I need a pick-me up.
I love Lowe as our MMC. He’s a cinnamon role villain. So kind to everyone and a great Alpha to his pack. However, he has that you touch her and you die feel too.
I would give this 🌶️🌶️🌶️ as there is quite a bit of spice about 2/3 of this book and on. It also has quite a bit of swearing.
Honestly, this book was over rated in my honest opinion. I was prepared for something gruesome or twisted but I just found this book repetitive and boring. The storyline could have been done in half the size.
This was my first book of King’s I have read but I definitely didn’t enjoy any of it. Maybe it’s too soon since COVID but I couldn’t wait to be done with this book and not for the reasons I had thought I would need to be.
As for my warnings: it’s a King book it’s a warning in and of itself but definitely some disturbing things as they are cannibals and of course quite a bit of swearing
5 stars and a some swoon worthy kisses. Katherine Center is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. Her books just fill your soul with laughter and joy. I seem to feel happier when I finish her books. More positive.
The Rom-Commers did not disappoint. I can’t wait to read it again and start taking quotes from it. I got this as an advanced copy from NetGalley and I am so grateful to them, Katherine Center and St. Martin’s Press for allowing me to read this.
As I always try to do: No 🌶️ but about 9 f’ words.
4-stars because I don’t know if I would ever read it again. This book was gripping for sure. At one point I was so engrossed I forgot where I was and got startled by some noise.
If you like the Island Of The Blue Dolphins you will enjoy this book. I will definitely be suggesting to my son to read this as my daughter already has. It’s a great book for kids middle school or younger.
This book was definitely not as good as the first. I loved the first book. Roman and Iris made my heart swoon. This one made me feel like I was trudging in molasses and begging for it to end. I just couldn’t DNF it as I hoped it would get better.
There were parts that pulled me in but more so it just felt wordy and slow. It does have a little bit of cussing and the physical intimacy between the two was a hazy detail (what gave it the extra .5) but I just didn’t connect as much with this as I did the other.
