I was pleasantly surprised with this one. The actual plot was not complicated, but kept my wanting to read. I'm not usually a big lover of the particular tropes in this book (age gap in particular) but I enjoyed the buildup of their relationship and appreciated the tameness of the introduction to kink for the character and readers. I feel like most books that are wanting to dig into that just go to far extremes that aren't generally realistic or the author doesnt understand it enough (think 50 shades).

I did not however like the ending. I just felt it was unnecessary. After the slowish burn of the rest of the story, it just felt too quick. I rate it 3.5. The ending is why it's not a 4 for me.

A quick, enjoyable read. Is it stereotypical? Absolutely. But sometimes you just need a story that's not new and fresh, but also isn't a reread. Ya know? I enjoyed it, but it's not like, my favorite read of the year or anything.

There were some great moments in this book, but there were others that just got weird, and I didn't feel like it was necessary to the story. Overall, it tied the rest of the series together fairly well.

I enjoyed the story once i got into it. It was just hard to get into. The idea makes you think, but the novel definitely left some questions unanswered.

I loved it. The writing style kept me hooked from the very beginning. There were a few things that seemed a bit random, and sometimes the main characters POV changed too quickly it created questions i dont feel were ever answered, but overall, a very fun read, and an interesting topic for sure.

Even as an adult, i still really enjoyed this book. I feel the answers as to who was actually involved was pretty obvious. I guessed that at least one of the two involved was involved pretty early on. I also appreciated the various topics that were touched on, and how the book shows how messy relationships of all kinds, particularly in a small community, could be. I also like that it ended in a way that i don't feel i have to keep reading what is apparently a series im just now learning. I may still do that, but having a complete ending was nice in a world where everyone feels to continue a story.
