I have to admit I had a lot of mixed feelings about this book. I liked it at first but then felt almost bored by it until the last few chapters. It might just be me- I'm terrible at knowing people's emotions when they are only hinted at so the honesty of the last chapters felt realer. The relationships in this were beautifully intricate, the way all relationships are and the way politics, gender and class were intertwined was effortlessly brilliant. Would highly recommend!

This was an interesting book! I'm not one for novels set in slack and i did feel tired at a couple of moments. That being said, this book is really cool and I read it in one sitting and got a fuzzy feeling at the end of it.

This was a really interesting read! I liked how the chapters were short and I found the main character's inner monologue fascinating to follow: it felt not too much like sarcasm or commentary but those elements were absolutely there.
