Such a good comforting read. Fits into the already well established world of Greek mythology fiction/romance. I loved this Re-imagining. At times I felt Persephone fell into a few annoying tropes but overall it was a fast, engaging read and I look forward to the rest of the series!
Has potential. But there’s just not enough story. Pages and pages of fluff and kissing that don’t feel earned. The drama, the tension is basically non existent. Good read if you have Amazon kindle unlimited and are a bit bored one night maybe? Didn’t even finish it.
Flaws of characters a main focus? It's complicated

Absolute wonderful book, complex, smart characters and a fun plot. Rarely do I ever read a book whose characters truly outsmart the reader. This one does just that. The twists and turns, the betrayal, the longing…it keeps you on the edge of page.
This is a really hard read but....at the same time you can't put it down. It's complicated but I was oddly not triggered by this book at all more just disturbed. It was fascinating.
Really fun read, nothing too challenging but it’s a nice reflection on some of the things we’ve become to accustomed too in our world and the ways we can be kinder to each other!
Love this book so so much. This author has a way with writing and words that I’ll always respect. It’s a major comfort read and I really appreciate how focused on the plot this book remains without getting sidetracked by a romance subplot. It’s good stuff. The deception, the lies, the lore is all there. One of my favorites to re-read time again.
