Oh lawd. I will never recover from the emotional turmoil this third book has put me through. Forever in my heart ❤️ the shocking amount of character development was pleasing and the romance fit just as well. Although there are POV changes it went perfectly. The pace of the story line was exhilarating. Will I ever find another book this great for me 😭😭😭

This is my first dark romance. It was very hard to read. Not because of triggers, but this is what I would expect to find on like Wattpad. It's not a bad book, the writing style just wasnt at my level, dont think I'll be reading book two unfortunately

This is possibly my favorite part of the is world that Jennifer L. Armentrout has created. I would highly suggest reading the first 4 books of Blood and ash, because the connection between the 2 are very important. There are some things that I don't think would make sense if I haven't read those first, but at the same time, so fates of the characters have been uncovered in those books as well. I was unable to sit this book down and sinished the last 500 pages in one sitting. I could not put the book down, it was heated and yet my eyes stung at some parts where I felt lost in the character feelings and actions. I just bought the second book and must start it immediately because I must know what happens. This by far has become my favorite book out of both series because it has been a while since I have been able to sit and read a book so intently.

Almost a 5 star book. There is so much information that this book provides. The issue is that the filler content is spread out and the good information is crammed into one space. I found myself on the edge of my seat during the filler information waiting to see what was coming. Once something big happened I found myself dizzy and needing to reread 3-4 times to actually collect the info. Other than how information was given, I feel like this is an essential piece of the series. Although I feel we need 3 more books after how this one ended. As always I recommend this series to my friends and we honestly love Poppy, probably one of the few female leads that we actually appreciate. It may not be everyone's cup of tea but this is one of the top series in my list.
