Interesting series, definitely promising.
This one is another book I read and forgot to review. I remember enjoying it but not being wowed.

Finished tris a while ago and forgot to review.
I enjoyed the world and the lore. I do feel like it wasn’t fleshed out enough and the world could have been a little more detailed.
Otherwise, I enjoyed it and look forward to returning to the series at some point.

I liked it. I liked it a lot. However, I did not love it, not the story nor the characters. And that earns it 3 stars.

I enjoyed the book and even though I feel like I should have more thoughts about it, I don’t. I liked it and that’s that.

This one didn't have the grip "I Wish I Would Have Chosen You" had on me.
However, I still really enjoyed it until I got to the end that is. The ending felt rushed and left me disappointed.

This one just didn’t check the boxes I was hoping for. I was not convinced that these characters were meant for one another.

I didn’t hate this book but I really really didn’t like it.
It was a strong, interesting story that I was enjoying until I wasn’t. Everything from the plot and characters was a love to absolutely not.
This book made me hate the miscommunication trope even more. Especially because the MMC was SA’d and EVERYONE HATES HIM FOR SOMETHING HE DID NOT DO AND IT IS NEVER ADDRESSED.
The author did an okay job and convincing me Lucas and Anna loved each other because the book starts 10 years after they were together and all you see is their physical relationship and not much emotional building. The author does a good job of telling you they love each other, showing the angst of that love.
I don’t remember there being CW’s so here goes mine:
Domestic Violence (emotional, verbal, and somewhat physical)
On page, pretty descriptive SA towards the heroine (not by the hero)
Descriptive kinky physical intimacy

I think I liked this one but I can’t remember.
Oh, I remember that I hated how many Grey’s Anatomy references were in this book.

The chokehold this book had me in…
I Wish I Would’ve Chosen You was a book I started because the title called to me in a way that no other book title has.
And the story was fkng cathartic.
I couldn’t put this book down, and when I was forced to, I couldn’t get it out of my head. I couldn’t stop finding ways to just keep reading.
(Sleep? Who needs it?)
Liam and Genevieve wrapped themselves around my heart and did not let go, they did everything right and wrong and I loved it. I fell in love.

Not my favorite Lucia Franco story.
I didn’t connect with the characters in the way I thought I would. I still enjoyed the book, the characters and their journey but something was missing for me.
I think I can appreciate this story a little more now because of the change in pov and the fact that it was fleshed out a little more.
Still strongly feel that the bad guy got off too easy, and I guess that’s just what it is for some people in actuality. Sometimes we don’t get justice.
I wasn’t convinced, not fully anyway, that the MC’s were really committed to each other and their love for one another.
