NOW I GET THE HYPE. this book was so much better than the first and thank god it was, not a full five stars because the beginning felt repetitive and frustrating (i understand that was the point) and i found difficult to really get into it at the start, but the rest was absolutely amazing!

had higher hopes for this book, the first half was painful, their was a complete lack of plot while feyre and tamlins relationship progressed, like literally nothing happened of significance other than maybe a sentence every few chapters. second half was better, but the conflict was rushed through.

i’m already itching for onyx storm to be released, like i physically cannot wait. i read this in less than 32 hours and its almost 700 pages. this series never fails to make me so giddy and then straight into to shattering sobs. amazing.

this book made me cry like a little kid. the detail of the writing and care put into this novel could only be described as a spiritual experience.

loved this book, i can normally tell when twists are coming and these i really couldn’t pick up on. i also appreciated the complicated storyline’s of all the characters, it adds so much depth to the story.

i only give five stars when a book really moves me. i find it hard to get swept into the plot especially when a book is not well written and the plot lacks a strong foundation. that being said i would give up my first born to read this book for the first time again.
i physically sobbed when the hotel got five keys.
hilderbrand puts such love and care into her characters that it’s impossible not to become emotionally attached to them. it’s literally 2 in the morning that’s how dedicated i was to this book. five keys!!!

relatively good but the characters were really hard to like (which was the point) but made it difficult to read at times. really liked how fast paced it was though. saw the twist coming, predictable.
