This is a very different novel by Jane Austen. Using only letters is very creative and it was a joy to listen to. I like how the main character was kind of a mess, manipulative and not really liked by the other characters. The way Lady Susan treat her daughter is just sad. The story is very dramatic, I think this would make a fun movie in some way. Overall, I’m not blown away by this story, but it was a nice audiobook to put on.

Een boek over liefde en leed in al hun vormen en maten. Prachtig en origineel geschreven.

I’ll be honest, by the last two chapter I was kind of done with this book. Not sure why. It had beautiful and emotional writing. I liked annotating this one, but in the end i’m not blown away. The title is absolutely GORGEOUS though.

This was an easy read, that kept my interest for the whole story. I think it leaves a lot of questions at the end, but it gets you thinking about yourself and the book.

Although the edition i picked up used some difficult language, I did not dislike to read this. It’s an iconic story after all and I feel like I had to read it someday. It has some beautiful lines and was sometimes surprisingly funny?

This was fine, but not what I want to read right now. Will come back to it eventually.

This book was so interesting. I loved the antropology stuff, (some of) the characters and their relationships between each other and their jobs. This was beautifully written, I underlined so many lines. Absolutely wonderful. Reading the last line after everything made me want to scream.
