I still love this series but felt like this book wasn't quite on the same level as her others. It was funny but I think Stephanie was a little more introspective about where she was going in her life and what she wanted.

She is still torn between Morelli and Ranger, but I think she really leans towards Morelli.

Ranger is still a hoot and I loved that he considers her his entertainment just for all the messes she finds herself in and the number of cars that end up totaled on her watch.

I'll keep reading this series, but this one seemed a bit more serious than the others.

I just adore these novels! These are such an easy listen/read in between other more complex books and are just so entertaining. Stephanie, Grandma and Lula make me laugh with all of the antics they get into. Can't wait to see if there is a number 28 as well as to read the spinoff book for the new character!

Same old, same old for this series.
Had a laugh here and there.
Stephanie is as useless as she ever has been, woman up already.

3.5 stars. Honestly, I’m read for Stephanie to pick between Ranger and Morelli and have the series by done. It’s pretty repetitive at this point.

The latest (number 8 publishes later in 2021.), but the first I've done as an audiobook. All the entertainment I expect from a Stephanie Plum novel, but I'm not a fan of the reader. I'll go back to the written version for number 28.

The plot is the same predictable one from this series but the characters never disappoint. Potts was a good addition to the cast of quirky misfits.

I always enjoy reading the Stephanie Plum books, even if they are repetitive - they always make me laugh, and this book was no different. I thought the hunt for the treasure was entertaining, and loved seeing that Steph's car karma is still hanging on! Can't wait for the next book!
