This book literally KO'ed me, twisted my little dark heart, and trampled all over it.

MK is probably the luckiest girl (fictionally) alive. Archer is a delicious bundle of grumpy fury. Steel is the constant lethal smirk. And Kody, oh Kody, my sweet, cheeky prince. I loved how their relationships all progressed at a different pace with MK and that it was totally okay for her to love them differently. Why-choose novels often force the MC to equally split her affections between their love interests. But thankfully MK can have all the angst and all the boys.

Oh- and the voice actors in the audiobook absolutely killed this, I think I swooned over Lucas Webley's every word.

Fun. Dumb. Entertaining. How a RH romance should be.

⭐️4 I want to talk about cons before I dive into my review. The pranks MK pulled on the guys felt really high schoolers. I don't know why MK could not just sit down and listen to what the guys say about what truly happened that night. MK was impulsive. She took action before her brain gave things a run and that really fucked her up sometimes. Her dad was not wrong that she was just a stupid girl. But I appreciated her character in another way. I have too many FMC with a rational mind so reading MK was really fun and outstanding experience to me. I also like how she went into denial after everything turned out to be completely different than what she thought they were. I felt it was real and sort of reflective (if I was told "sky is purple not blue" I would freak out and went into denial as well lol). Before hitting 50% mark, I was also annoyed by the guys for not being straightforward to MK. But once I learned there was a stalker and an agreement made between Archer and two gangs, I was convinced that there was a lot more happening in the background. We just did not know what they were since the story was told in MK's POV. The story ended on a cliffhanger and I could not wait to learn what the fuck was really happening.

P.S. Bree sounds a little fishy. I have a feeling that she might be the mocking stalker who made the MK barbies and took the pics, but the first stalker aka the killer is somebody else (right now I am betting on dad or Dallas)

Holy smokes. Holy smokes, holy smokes. What doesn’t this book have!?! Mystery, smoking hot dudes, intrigue, hate, lust, and one feisty refuses to be backed into a corner fmc. Madison Kate is a force to be reckoned with and the author does a fantastic job of giving her such a devious mind.
The author has wonderful world building skills, as well as making this story so real, you are part of the story. The wonderful interactions between the characters as superb. I hate that it ends on a cliff hanger but, the title of the book really lets you know, plus this author, lets be honest, homegirl loves her cliff hangers. Sadistic is what it is and I am here for it. Do yourself a favor and pick this book up, you cannot go wrong.
