I'll be honest, while I've been enjoying The Witcher series immensely, this book was rough to get through. There was, I found, so much exposition that I had a hard time getting into the story. If you can get through a majority of the book though, the story picks up and flies after Chapter 4, which redeemed this book in my eyes. Ciri's travels and scenes alone we're worth the adventure to get there.
Not my favorite out of the series so far, but definitely still a good book.

Another enjoyable Witcher adventure. There were lots of good moments, I enjoyed the battle between the "mages," and the moments that Geralt and Dandelion were together, also Keira Metz and finally getting to see Geralt break Dijkstra leg. I am looking forward to the next book, seeing Ciri with her new crew and Geralt and Dandelion setting out to find her!

As with the other books in this series, the story is mostly told through dialogue. There is a lot of action, but also a lot of politics. It took me longer to get through this one than the others, but I still enjoyed it. Definitely excited to see what happens next to Ciri, the Witcher, and Yen!
