Marcus is presumed dead or missing, The rest grieve until he is found alive. He made a deal with another player Victoria where she saves him and he agrees to marry her. Marcus hates her but reunites with his family and their relationship intensifies with all the MC's being intimate. A new player is introduced, the Viper, who is later found to be Luca, the host of the game.

It’s been a long time since I’ve read a book that was both smutty and had a plot. This little series gets better with every book and the twist and turns just keep coming.
The little twist at the end, I saw it coming a few chapters away but that in no way made me love this story any less and boy do I love it. These men? Swoooon. I am absolutely head over heels for them, especially Theo and Ryland.

This book was equally as good as the first. It took a good chunk of the book to find Marcus which made me a little bored since nothing was actually happening. When they all were back together it was really nice. Theo and Marcus are both sweethearts. I understand that Ryland cares for her just as much but he doesn't show it the same

Now that took a turn. Can’t believe I’m saying this but I was so entertained. The ending made me want to jump to the next one.

I liked this one better than the first. It did take me a while because I wasn’t completely hooked and obsessed but I couldn’t stop reading because I wanted to know what happened to Marcus. Although I expect main characters not to die easily, some points I doubted if he was alive because of the pain and the way it was written through their perspectives and body language.
I was surprised by the way Marcus was revealed and I also liked how the spice wasn’t too much. The ratio of plot to sex was balanced but it wasn’t all that. It didn’t excite me or give me butterflies but it was better than I expected. There wasn’t much mention of her amputation and what comes with living with it even after two years and there should’ve been more focus on that or maybe sometimes the pain, etc. But Ayla isn’t weak and I rated her for that. The improvement of Theo and especially Ryland’s relationship with her was written good too and I’m glad that wasn’t forgotten. But I think Marcus will always be my favourite because I felt like there was more chemistry between them two than with the others.
I did like the ending because I didn’t expect it but I didn’t feel shocked for some reason. Now I hope that the third book will be as good.

Good, better than book 1! The dark themes of this were stomach churning, but saw the twist of The Viper from a mile away.
