This. Was. Awesome. I loved every part of this book. The overcoming addiction. The strength of the main character. The groveling she made him do. Just absolutely one of my top favorites ever. I really enjoyed this read and even highlighted some stuffs ;-). Great job to the author!

I liked most of the book but as I neared the last 30% I was getting over the FMC.
The FMC always got in her own way, her need to be a saviour was annoying af. Giiiiiiirrrrl just listen you aint that good at your job if ya caught lacking hahah that storyline didn’t even make sense - the FMC is so good at her job but not good enough to NOT get tracked!?

I give it a 2.5 Stars mainly because while it was enjoyable it was one of those reeds where I had to kind of turn my brain off a bit and not nitpick at things like writing. I've come to realize that's a common thing with her books. I pick them up when I'm more in the mood for some good smut but don't really want in-depth plot or character development and amazing writing. It wasn't bad, you just have to be in the mood for it and know where you're getting into beforehand. Very much on par with the other books in the series that I have read previously.

I don’t like heroes who share their woman, automatic ick. DNF at 61%, before the 3some I would have given it a 3 as I was struggling to enjoy the style of writing, something about it felt quite jerky, it’s a shame because it had a lot of potential.

I took a chance and downloaded this book after seeing it on BookTok. I had no other knowledge prior to going in so my expectations were low. Overall this was a very enjoyable book to read. The character building is amazing and I really felt like I knew both Izzy and Cade by the end of it. It’s a good option if you like enemies to lovers, forced proximity, and HEA.
