Odd, connected and disconnected, ordinary and mythical. Quirky and bleak? I'll have to wait for further discussion for enlightenment.

The one where Atkinson bases an entire story around the Buffy episode "The Replacement." Have I mentioned that I love her?

I love Kate Atkinson’s writing. This was a clever collection of well-written short stories, just not my favorite of her works.
