Going into the second book in the Ice Planet Barbarian series I was excited to know how the other women found the entire situation they found themselves in to be. This book definitely gave me Beauty and the Beast vibes from the moment he stormed off with her and took her to their cave that soon became their little love nest. The time spent in the cave was a little bit slow for me and I could feel my interest waning but the third act of the book did what I wanted it to do and it pulled me right back in. Having read now 2 of the 21 books I will continue on my IPB journey cant wait to read what comes next.

Not a fan of Liz but this series may be a guilty pleasure.
It did feel weird that after he got hurt Liz would just drop what she stood for, like her being an independent,  non-childbearing woman. The romance didn't feel real to me.

The first one had a few dubious consent moments, but the second one really goes for it. The whole vibe is “she says no but means yes” and that’s a no from me.

Okay...so this seemed like more of the same. Very similar sexy time scenes and behaviors from the aliens and humans. On the plus side, the books are short and read very quickly. I think these are perfect books to read when you want something fun and light with a spicy heat level (7ish/10) when you're in the mood for it. Personally, I won't be reading further at this point in time. I won't say I'll never come back to the series, but I feel the story's main theme was a bit "wash and repeat", so I'm not ready to see what's next.

Fun and sexy but kind of lost it's steam

I was worried about the whole kidnapping thing but no one can hold Liz if she doesn't want to!

My book is the special edition which includes an epilogue and a honeymoon. You could tell it had been a while since Dixon has written the two because published chronologically some parts don't make sense i.e. certain sexual boundaries being pushed that were ok the time before

Just wasn’t a fan of Liz’s fiery personality and her constant denying of her feelings for the hero.
