A relatively quick read, this affectionate and generous memoir is as much a love letter to the city of New York as it is a loving collection of memories of Oliver Sacks.
Sprinkled with photos from the author, this books recounts his growing affection for a city he clearly loves and his short, loving and intense relationship with the brilliant Sacks.
It is sweet, poignant and compellingly readable.

I will forever keep this book with me. I’m bad with words, but this book makes me want to treasure life and experience all the joyous and tragic parts of it, because that’s what it means to be alive, to be human, to connect, to feel, to love.
