The cold setting was not to my taste, may try again.

Ça m'a saoulé. J'accrochais bien au début, mais là c'est juste sans plus...

I was NOT expecting that ending. I’m so sad and angry!!

Why did Ryon have to die??? I really really hope he had enough Iskra magic left in him to heal and survive that! Angry for Dawsyn who just learned that he had made a deal with the Queens to kill her. What the hell Ryon?? Ugh! Those Queens are the absolute worst. Here comes Dawsyn to say “I dealt with your Glacian problem” and them throwing her in a dungeon because the people will want to follow her. No shit. Who wouldn’t want to follow the human that saved your kingdom? And not to mention she is the last living blood relative of the royals that SHOULD be in power. AH those Queens need to die.

I really enjoyed this book! I was expecting more of it to be lived on the Ledge but I was happily shown the whole Kingdom. From the Ledge, Glacia Kingdom, down the slopes and past the Mecca and to the coast.  I loved Dawsyn experiencing everything that wasn’t snow. It was also entertaining when she learned the concept of money and needing to pay for products and services.

I cannot explain how happy I am that the trilogy is complete. I ordered book 2 and it is on the way!

I am wrecked and speechless.

It’s been years since I read a book as well written as Ledge. The world building is beautiful and easy to follow. The main characters are real, courageous, strong and so perfect. The writing itself is worth a hundred rereads. There were moments I had to stop and read again because it was masterfully written. I was so absorbed into the lives of these characters, I want to be their friends. The humor, love, joy, pain, growth… every moment was better than I could have hoped for.

Lolololol WHAT JUST HAPPENED

i am so glad I waited until I had the entire series to start because that ending?! WHAT?!

This was such a good read - once I got used to the writing style, I was addicted. It’s unique, fun, immersive, sexy, anxiety inducing, and just… wild.

Dawsyn and Ryon are such a great duo. I love when MC’s recognize the power in each other and uplift rather than stifle the other. The way they work together, talk to each other, and support each other is just chef’s kiss. 🤌🏼

Well...I rather liked the idea of this icy world and big bird-like creatures ready to eat you every season. At the beginning, it had some nice creepy chills, and I'm here for that! I also liked the world building and the language in general, a really nice job on author's side. Chapters could have been longer (more than 50 chapters for less than 300 pages is a bit strange), but they also allowed me to finish a chapter before going to sleep, so at the same time as being annoyed, I was also grateful.

However - ready to jump bones at 50% mark is not something I would call slow burn romance (especially as the characters knew each other at this point for a week max) and this book is basically a cliché over cliché on top of cliché. She is super strong female lead with smart mouth who can't, for the love of her, just shut up and he is big bulky beautiful man with the strongest jaw bones and widest shoulders. And of course, let us not forget she is super short, cute as a button while he is basically the size of a brick house.

P.S. "the decadent silk of (his) eyelids" is one of the cringiest descriptions I've ever read.

This book is written in a flowery prose that is pretty good. Even so, this one is not my cup of tea overall. I found myself feeling impatient with the plot. I grew to like the two main characters, but maybe too late into the story. It ends on a cliffhanger, but I'm not eager to read the next in the trilogy.
