Reread for the first time in nearly 20 years. I only had vague memories of the plot but it all came flooding back as soon as I started reading. This was very much a nostalgic comfort read but I still love it a lot.

I loved this series growing up. It's so interesting to see how differently I view this series now that it's been about 2 decades since I last read them. I feel some nostalgia, and for that, they'll always have a special place in my heart, but I'm glad more diverse (and better written) stories have become more visible and more easily accessible since then.
