Emotional and tense plot twist that shows how fragmented a family can become in the midst of tragedy. This book also captures the beautiful mosaic life can become once you pick up the pieces and find the glue to put them back together. Morgan and Clara show the dynamics between mother and daughter as they navigate their new lives post-tragedy.

The first 1/3 of this book was so good but the second half dragged on way too long.   I found the main character Morgan to be super annoying and hard to like at times.

Okay, maybe I can find a fault in CoHos writing. I loved all the characters as a whole, but there was one moment in this one where I felt that one MMC was pushing the FMC into something they didn't want...

I attempted to read this as a buddy read right after finishing my first BR. Well, it didn't go so well. It took a while for me to get into this one. The pacing was a little slower than other CoHos I've read and I already saw from chapter one at least how one conflict was going to arise.

Yes, there were some details around that plot that I wasn't expecting,  but some were pretty well laid out before the realization occurred with our characters.

I did enjoy both POVs this is written in - I'm always up for that! And I appreciate that there never was a rehash of the same event from the other POV, instead our timeline kept moving forward!

Also the ending was absolutely adorable!!
